The requirement
Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373, Annex IV, ATS.OR.320, requires air traffic control service providers to develop, implement and monitor a rostering system. Its purpose is to manage the risks of occupational fatigue of air traffic controllers through a safe alternation of duty and rest periods. To this end, the service provider must specify eight elements. Each organisation sets the values itself; the regulation does not prescribe any figures.
ATS.OR.320 (b) also requires the air traffic controllers concerned, or their representatives, to be consulted during the development and application of the rostering system.

Rostify also checks weekly and consecutive hours (50 / 60 hours per calendar week, 60 hours without a free block).
