Trainee, Trainer, Observer

Three roles with a particular view of the roster – for on-the-job training and for everyone who follows along without planning.

Trainees and trainers (on-the-job training instructors) are planned as a pair: the trainee sees their trainers' roster and can align their own shifts with it. Observers see the daily staffing and published rosters without changing anything.

  1. 01 TraineeAs a trainee, you see your trainers' roster in real time and enter your office shifts yourself.
  2. 02 TrainerThe Trainer role makes your roster visible to the trainees of the unit. It does not add any functions of its own.
  3. 03 ObserverObservers see how a unit is staffed and can read rosters and briefings – without changing anything themselves.
