Signing in and account
Why have I suddenly been signed out?
The session ends after 150 minutes without activity. It also ends if your device's IP address changes – for example when switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data. Sign in again. See Signing in.
I have forgotten my password.
Set a new one yourself on the Reset password page. Your administrator gives you the link. See Forgotten password.
I have been given new rights but cannot see anything new.
New rights only take effect the next time you sign in. Sign out and in again.
How do I change my phone number or e-mail address?
The profile only displays your data. Your administrator can change it.
Notifications
Why do I get SMS instead of notifications?
Notifications are not switched on on any of your devices, or the app's registration has expired. Switch on notifications in your profile or sign in to the app again.
Why did the same message arrive twice?
If your device has not confirmed a notification within 20 minutes, Rostify also sends it as an SMS – between 05:30 and 22:30.
Roster and requests
I cannot see next month yet.
Staff only see a month once it has been published in all units in which they are scheduled. Until then, My Roster shows SCHEDULING with your own requests and absences.
A shift is missing from my selection list.
The list only contains shifts that are released for requests and for which you hold all required licences as active. Check your licences – Rostify warns you on the dashboard about licences that are about to expire.
I can no longer enter a request.
The month is no longer Open, or you have reached the maximum number of requests. See Shift requests.
Why is my shift hatched in yellow?
The Planner has scheduled you differently from your request. The shift's tooltip shows your original request.
Exchange, leave, overtime
Why is my colleague's shift grey?
The exchange would break a rule, or the shift cannot be exchanged. The tooltip of the grey shift gives the reason. See Shift exchange.
Does the Planner have to approve an exchange?
No. As soon as your partner accepts, the shifts are exchanged. The Planner sees all exchanges in a checklist.
I cannot apply for leave in a published month.
That is intended. Contact your Planner. See Leave.
I volunteered for overtime – how do I find out the result?
Everyone who volunteered receives a message. On the dashboard, the result is shown for three hours under Overtime result.
For Planners and Supervisors
I enter a shift and the cell turns red hatched.
The rest period or the sequence of shifts is violated. The entry is saved anyway; you decide whether it stays. See Rule check.
Autoplan has left shifts open.
For these shifts there was nobody who met all mandatory rules. The preview gives the reasons for each open shift. See Autoplan.
How do I undo Autoplan?
Clear AI removes all Autoplan entries for the month. For a single person, click the robot icon in their row.
A published roster has been changed – what does payroll see?
When you publish, Rostify saves the SOLL roster (target roster). It stays unchanged; the IST roster (actual roster) contains all later changes. Both can be printed.
