Notifications

Rostify notifies you about exchange requests, overtime calls and their outcome. How it reaches you depends on which devices you have registered:

  1. Notification (push) on the Rostify app or a registered browser – first, and free of charge.
  2. SMS to the phone number on file – if no device is registered.
  3. SMS follow-up – if your device does not confirm receipt of a notification within 20 minutes, the same message follows by SMS. Follow-up SMS are only sent between 05:30 and 22:30; messages outside this window go out when it opens.

Registering a browser

  1. Open your profile and, under My devices, click Switch on here. Alternatively, the same button is available as Switch on in the Warnings card on the dashboard.
  2. Allow the browser to show notifications.
  3. The device appears in the list as registered, with the date. The device you are currently using is marked this device.

The button only appears if your browser supports notifications and you have not already blocked them.

Removing a device

Click the bin icon Remove this device next to the device. When no device is registered any more, the list shows No device registered – you receive an SMS.

The Rostify app registers for notifications automatically every time you sign in. An app registration that has not been refreshed for more than a month counts as expired – you then receive SMS again.
