Trainer

The Trainer role makes your roster visible to the trainees of the unit. It does not add any functions of its own.

What the role does

  • Your operational shifts appear in the trainer roster of all trainees in the same unit – as soon as your roster has been published. Trainees do not see your absences or your office and spare-time shifts.
  • Briefings can be addressed specifically to Trainers. You then receive them like any other briefing.

You manage your own roster, requests, leave and exchanges through your Staff role – see chapter 02.

Getting the Trainer role

The administrator assigns the role for each unit separately – for example Trainer in APP and Staff in TWR. It takes effect the next time you sign in. Whether the Trainer and Trainee roles are available depends on your organisation's service package.
