The Rostify app

Installing and signing in

Download Rostify from the App Store or Google Play. You sign in with the same credentials as in the browser. The app shows the OPS units in which you are staff.

When you sign in, the app registers for notifications. Exchange requests, overtime requests and decisions on leave applications then arrive as push notifications instead of SMS. When you sign out, the registration of this device is deleted.

What the app can do

My Roster	Monthly calendar with shifts, absences, public holidays and exchange markers.
Shift requests	Enter, change and delete requests for open months.
Leave	Submit applications, see their status, revoke open applications.
Exchange	Request exchanges, accept or decline incoming requests.
Overtime	Volunteer for advertised shifts, with times in 30-minute steps.
Group roster	The unit's roster as a PDF.
Calendar	Export of the published month.

Using the dashboard

You answer exchange requests with a swipe: a swipe reveals ✕ (decline) on the left and the thumbs-up (accept) on the right. You also delete your own outgoing requests with a swipe. You revoke open leave applications in the leave list by swiping right.

Differences from the browser version

• Requests with a rest period conflict are not saved by the app. The message Sincerest apologies, there is a problem with the required REST PERIOD. appears. In the browser such a request is saved and marked.
• Exchange requests sent from the app always notify the partner. A request without a message is only possible in the browser.
• The time clock, briefing management and all planning and supervisor functions are only available in the browser.
